Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon

Mike is an experienced hand and wrist surgeon based in the NorthWest of England and was appointed as a Consultant at Wrightington Hospital over 20 years ago. He practices in all areas of hand and wrist surgery (excluding micro) and has a particular interest in sports injuries. He is the hand surgeon to many professional sports teams and National sporting organisations in the UK and overseas and is now helping prepare athletes for a 5th consecutive Olympic cycle.

Mike is on the Specialist Register as an Orthopaedic Consultant and his clinical practice is exclusively surgery of the Hand and Wrist. In addition he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Human Bone cell research group at the University of Liverpool and also  at the University of Salford.

He consults privately at The OrthTeam Centre (M20 2ZA) and on the private wing at his NHS base Wrightington Hospital.
