Mike was in Basel, Switzerland this week as a newly appointed member of the European Upper Extremity Surgeon Advisory Board. The surgeons discussed recent developments in hand and wrist products and helped shaped future research.
Each surgeon was asked to give a short presentation about the most exciting aspects of their clinical practice. Mike case to speak on recent advances in wide awake hand surgery, fixation of the small bones in the hand and also opportunities in helping educate surgeons.
Much of the work discussed was confidential and cannot be disclosed but will feature over the next few years in Stryker's upper limb portfolio.
