Mike was the first surgeon in the UK to use Xiapex in a patient in a non clinical trial setting. It seems like a long time ago and he has now injected over 300 patients with the enzyme.
He has only had a handful of patients that have not responded to the treatment. He has developed experience using the injection and is of the opinion that approximately 2/3 of patients are suitable for this non surgical form of treatment.
