Wrightington tips and tricks style conference has proved to be very successful over the years. This year's conference is no exception, and Mike has put together a superb international faculty combine with good UK-based surgeons to share their expertise and experiences with the delegates. The conference starts on Wednesday with an all day cadaveric arthroscopy course organised by Mr Sumedh Talwalkar. Thursday and Friday are dedicated to tips and tricks on the hand and wrist. The teaching methods combine a good balance of short punchy lectures, more formal Keynote lectures, group discussions, and open debate. The cadaver lab at Wrightington Hospital will be used at lunchtime for practical skills sessions where the delegates will be given the opportunity to see how some implants and techniques can be performed by key opinion leaders. Mike will be talking on the pros and cons of salvage surgery in the wrist. He will talk on treatment options for wrist arthritis including wrist fusions and proximal row carpectomy, as as well as sharing his experiences in the use of nonoperative treatment of Dupuytren's disease.
